Bilberry is beautiful, tasty and healthy. Lying on the dark green leaves on shady forest clearings bilberries look like agate pieces with their deep black colour with a slightly blue shade. It is usually collected in July in ecologically clean regions of Sayan mountain foothills, in Khakassia and Krasnoyarski krai. At the beginning of August they are used to make jam, nectar or fruit juice. In a jar of bilberry jam you will find the whole bouquet of aromas and tastes! Rich taste of berries mashed with sugar makes it a must in home pastry cooking. Children adore it as well.
