Bilberry is beautiful, tasty and healthy. Lying on the dark green leaves on shady forest clearings bilberries look like agate pieces with their deep black colour with a slightly blue shade. It is usually collected in July in ecologically clean regions of Sayan mountain foothills, in Khakassia and Krasnoyarski krai. At the beginning of August they are used to make jam, nectar or fruit juice. It has rich taste which is sweet and slightly spicy. It quenches your thirst and has a hone aroma. It’s good for your eyesight, helps treat stomach problems and is even used to prevent cancer.
